This session aims to introduce the individualized MAP stored in the memory of the speech processor to anyone involved with cochlear implants. The basic process of programming the speech processor and the most important MAP parameters of the Nucleus device will be explained. There will also be information on parameters you can change as a parent/teacher/therapist easily and what effects MAP changes may have on listening. It will provide you with information on important feedback you can give to the cochlear implant team and how you can tell when a MAP needs to be adjusted.

All CI professionals, audiologists, habilitationists, teachers, parents, … who wish to get better acquainted with programming and the MAP parameters.
