Panos Stavropoulos, Technical Support Specialist, Cochlear Europe
With the increased installed base of CI recipients living or moving far away from a CI clinic, and today's widespread access to internet, the need for programming remote recipients using technological advances emerged. This session will give an introduction to remote fitting by specifying what it is, what material is required and what the minimal requirements from a technical point of view are. The advantages and prerequisites of setting up a remote fitting programme in your clinic will be discussed. The session will also provide practical tips for checking and troubleshooting.
