Bas Van Dijk, Global Research Coordinator - Sound Coding, Cochlear Ltd

10 January 2009

Are you interested in learning more about the way the auditory system works and how it deals with electrical stimulation?

This session will provide insight into the physiological and psychophysical operations of the auditory system. It examines how the underlying physiology responds to various electrical stimulations and how this impacts psychophysical performance. Based on this, it will be explained how sound coding can be achieved with a cochlear implant, both now as well as in the future.

This presentation is divided in 4 parts. All parts can be accessed at no cost, at any time after the date it has been published. Just click on the links below.

The entire course has been accredited with 1 CPD point by the British Academy of Audiology.
