The Audiological Aspects of Baha

Learning Outcomes:

This two-day course will introduce the core knowledge areas required to practice as a Baha clinician. The format will be a mixture of presentations and practical sessions.

This course will provide information on:

·        Introduction to BP100, the first programmable Baha

·        Cochlear Baha fitting software

·        Baha assessment, selection considerations and criteria

·        The complete Baha system product portfolio

·        Overview of the surgical procedure (with hands-on drilling)

·         Clinical performance

·        Troubleshooting the external equipment 

Who should attend:

Acousticians and audiologists, who are new to Baha, who work in clinics that perform Baha or will start performing Baha surgery in the near future.
