Mapping Out Patient Problems

Learning Outcomes:

This one-day course will revise the basic science of electrical stimulation of the auditory system and introduce the more advanced parameters of the Nucleus Custom Sound programming software. The course format will be a mixture of presentations and discussions.  

This course will provide information on:

  • Advanced parameters of the Nucleus Custom Sound programming software: technical background and clinical applications
  • Working with Custom Sound: rationales for choosing speech coding strategies and stimulation modes
  • Programming techniques to optimise MAPs and troubleshoot challenging cases



 Who should attend: 

Clinicians who have attended the Nucleus Introductory CI Course and/or have at least six months of experience with the programming of Nucleus CI recipients.
